PRODUCT DETAILS
The GarageVent™ is a garage ventilation controller with exhaust fan
delay and temperature settings. This product provides exhaust ventilation.
The GarageVent™ controls ventilation based on a pre-set delay time and/or a pre-set temperature. When a door is opened, the GarageVent™ turns on the exhaust fan. The fan will continue to run after the door is closed until the pre-set delay time is reached. The GarageVent™ can also be programmed to turn on the exhaust fan when a pre-set temperature has been reached.
An unlimited number of doors can be operated on the system. The GarageVent™ Kit comes with two door switches (Part # GVC-01); additional door switches can be purchased separately (Part # GVDK-012).

SETTINGS & INSTALLATION
Delay Setting
The GarageVent™ controller will turn on an exhaust fan when it detects a door has opened. After the door has closed, the controller will continue to run the fan until the set delay time has run out. Delay time can be set anywhere from 0 to 2 hours.
Temperature Setting
The GarageVent™ controller will turn on the exhaust fan when a set temperature from 90°-140° F has been reached. Setting the dial to 0° will disable this feature.
Door Switches
Mount the door switches on the door and wall so that the magnetic strips on each are within 3 cm. of each other. Connect the supplied wire from the screw terminals on the door switches to the screw terminals on the GarageVent™ controller. Multiple wires can be connected to the GarageVent™ terminals.
TESTING YOUR GARAGEVENT™
To test the controller, without the door switches attached, connect a wire across the GarageVent™ screw terminals for at least 10 seconds and then release. The fan should turn on for the set DELAY time.
Note: If the door is left open for more than 10 minutes, the fan will shut off until the door is closed to save energy.
